Luas Transport
It can be safe to say that the Luas system is the best thing since sliced bread to hit Irish shores, making commuting in Dublin a lot easier than previous days. The Luas, Irish for 'speed', is currently a network of two lines, the red line (A line) and the Green line (B line) with plans to extend the network to more location.
Luas Fares
Prices for a Luas trip vary depending on the locations you want to travel to and from. You can also purchase return tickets and weekly tickets with further discounts given for SmartCard holders. A single one way fare can average at around 2 Euro.
Timetable
There are a number of Luas carriages on the track at the same time cutting down on waiting times at Luas stops. The closer you are to the city centre the less time you'll need to wait for the next Luas to arrive at your stop.
